Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dong-seop) participated in the Korea Safety Industry Expo and conducted a disaster safety campaign.
The Oil Corporation announced that it took part in the ‘2023 Korea Safety Industry Expo’ held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 13th to the 15th.
The Korea Safety Industry Expo is the largest safety specialized exhibition in the country, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the national safety oversight agency, with participation from government, local governments, public institutions, and domestic and international industry professionals. This year, it is held under themes such as industry, disaster prevention, fire, security, daily life, society, transportation, and maritime safety.

View original imageAt this expo, the Oil Corporation plans to introduce its low-carbon renewable energy projects (clean hydrogen, ammonia, CCS, floating offshore wind power, etc.) being promoted in response to climate change and to publicize various activities for practicing carbon neutrality.
During the expo, the Oil Corporation will conduct the ‘2023 Disaster Safety Campaign’ led by the Chief of the Planning and Finance Headquarters to raise public awareness of disasters.
This campaign, aimed at spreading a safety culture and educating the public on behavioral guidelines regarding natural and social disasters, reflects the Oil Corporation’s commitment to fulfilling its role as the disaster management authority more faithfully.
