Dongdaemun-gu Seoul Hanbang Promotion Center Hosts 'September Hanbang Book Talk'

Located in the Korean Medicine Industry Special Zone, Seoul Yakryeongsi, Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center will hold a "Korean Medicine Book Talk" on the 20th, themed on the book "Stories of the Wind (風) Told to My Daughter," in celebration of the September Culture Day.
The "Korean Medicine Book Talk," held on the last Wednesday of every month, Culture Day, is a free lecture where Korean medicine doctors who have authored Korean medicine books meet directly with residents to share seasonal health information, knowledge of Korean medicine history, and health tips.
The September Korean Medicine Book Talk on the 20th will be led by Korean medicine doctor Kim Hong-gyun, author of "Stories of the Wind (風) Told to My Daughter," who will explain diseases related to "Pung (風)" and corresponding treatments, as well as self-care methods.
The lecture will be held at the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center for the first 50 applicants. Those wishing to participate can apply by the 19th through the Dongdaemun-gu website's citizen participation section or via "Seoul Public Service Reservation." A representative of the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center said, "On the September Culture Day, we hope visitors come to the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center to attend health-beneficial lectures and also tour the Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean Medicine Museum, which is open free of charge."
