The global fandom life platform Weverse will conduct the online streaming of the ‘SMTOWN’ concert as its first official event following the opening of official communities for SM artists. Weverse will live broadcast ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2023 SMCU PALACE @JAKARTA with KB Bank,’ held on the 23rd of next month in Jakarta, Indonesia.
SM Entertainment’s ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ has been successfully held since 2008 in major cities worldwide including Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Dubai, Chile, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore. SMTOWN LIVE 2023 in Jakarta will feature a rich lineup of artists from TVXQ to Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, and RIIZE, who will deliver dazzling stages with their signature songs, hits, and various collaborative performances.
Weverse will provide online streaming so that fans around the world can watch the concert live, which will take place at 6:30 PM local time in Jakarta on the 23rd. Leveraging Weverse’s stable streaming technology, proven through live broadcasts of large-scale events such as the global music festival ‘Lollapalooza’ and world tours of HYBE Labels artists including BTS, the vividness of the venue will be delivered to fans in high-definition video and high-quality audio. For viewers who purchase the online streaming ticket, Weverse will also provide a ‘delay streaming’ service that allows watching the concert one more time. Ticket purchasers can watch the same performance again on October 28 at 6 PM Korean time (2 AM PDT, 5 AM EDT) and relive the excitement of the concert.
