Sangju City Appoints Famous Singer Bang Ju-yeon as Public Relations Ambassador... "I Will Promote My Hometown to the World"
Sangju City announced on the 13th that it has appointed famous singer Bang Ju-yeon, a native of Sangju City, as its promotional ambassador.
Bang Ju-yeon, who has expressed her love for Sangju through broadcasts, debuted as a singer in 1970 with "Sad Love Song" and released numerous hit songs such as "Jeong" (1971) and "Purple Bag" (1973). She served as the president of the Women's Association of the Korea Federation of Entertainment Artists and currently serves as the director of the Korea Self-Healing Power Research Institute.

View original imageBang Ju-yeon, who continues to be active in broadcasting, has also authored several books including "Dietary Habits by Constitution" (2006) and has gained long-standing popularity and trust from the public through her passion and diverse talents such as working as an art artist.
As the promotional ambassador of Sangju City, Bang Ju-yeon will promote Sangju’s festivals, culture, tourism, and major city projects, as well as participate in festivals and events to enhance the city’s image.
Bang said, “I will actively take the lead in using my love for my hometown, capabilities, and experience to promote the various values of my hometown Sangju City not only nationwide but also worldwide.”
