Gyeongbuk Province Holds 'Chuseok Special Sale' at 11 Distribution Channels... Up to 30% Discount
Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 13th that it will hold the ‘Gyeongbuk Sale Festa Chuseok Holiday Special Sale’ in connection with the Korea Together Festival to promote the consumption of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) products in the Gyeongbuk region and to revitalize the local economy during the Chuseok holiday.
The Gyeongbuk Sale Festa Chuseok Holiday Special Sale will be held on 11 online distribution channels, each establishing a dedicated section for Gyeongbuk products, and will run until the 30th. The participating distribution channels include Coupang, Wemakeprice, TMON, Korea Post Shopping, Gongyoung Shopping, SSG.com, 11st, Interpark, Oasis, Naver, and Jayeonirang, totaling 11 platforms.
This special sale features participation from 2,000 SMEs in the Gyeongbuk region, offering over 5,000 diverse products such as health functional foods, ceremonial items, and gift sets, with discount coupons of up to 30%.
A Gyeongbuk Province official stated, “Although the discount rates vary depending on the product and distribution channel, discount coupons are provided at a minimum of 5%, a maximum of 30%, and an average of 10 to 20%.”
This event is expected to create a synergy effect by boosting consumption and stabilizing Chuseok prices in conjunction with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘2023 Korea Together Festival.’
