Police Arrest Man in His 60s for Threatening Park Visitors with a Weapon
A man in his 60s who threatened a citizen resting in a park with a weapon was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 12th, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A without detention on suspicion of special intimidation.
Mr. A is suspected of swinging a weapon and threatening a citizen resting in Tapgol Park, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 8th of last month. It was investigated that while passing through the park, he took out a 12cm-long weapon and threatened a citizen sitting on a bench along with verbal abuse.
The police responded to the report and arrested Mr. A at the scene. After the arrest, a body search revealed that Mr. A was also carrying another weapon measuring 25cm in length.
