The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Begins Comprehensive Investigation of National Assembly Members' Virtual Assets

This investigation is conducted with the consent of both ruling and opposition parties. On the 4th, personal information collection, use, and third-party provision consent forms from members of the People Power Party and the Democratic Party of Korea were submitted to the ACRC. This follows the National Assembly's resolution on "Voluntary Reporting and Investigation of Virtual Assets" passed in May. The Justice Party, Basic Income Party, and Transition Korea, which had previously submitted personal information consent forms, resubmitted them in accordance with the forms submitted by the two major parties. Independent members of the National Assembly and some minor negotiation groups are submitting personal information consent forms voluntarily.
