Park Jong-gyun, Gwangju Dong-gu Council Member, Proposes 'Workplace Bullying Ordinance'
Park Jong-gyun, a member of the Dong-gu Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 11th that the 'Ordinance on the Prevention and Prohibition of Workplace Harassment' was passed in the standing committee.
The ordinance includes provisions regarding the responsibilities of the district mayor and measures to be taken related to workplace harassment, the operation of a center to handle reported cases, and protection measures for victims and related parties.
The applicable institutions include not only Dong-gu but also affiliated institutions and investment, contribution, and funding organizations.

Assemblyman Park said, "Administrative power can be exercised based on a healthy organizational culture," and urged, "Dong-gu should first thoroughly identify the hidden current status of workplace harassment based on the 'actual condition survey' clause stipulated in this ordinance.
