CJ CheilJedang to Launch Baemin Exclusive Products with Woowa Brothers
Collaboration Among Top Competitors in Food-Ecommerce Platform Sector
Faster Delivery of CJ CheilJedang Products via Baemin Instant Delivery Service
CJ CheilJedang is partnering with Woowa Brothers, the operator of ‘Baedal Minjok (Baemin),’ to develop products exclusively for delivery commerce.
On the 11th, CJ CheilJedang announced that it signed a Joint Business Partnership (JBP) agreement with Woowa Brothers on the 8th at Baemin’s headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to establish a strategic partnership.
CJ CheilJedang possesses global-level competitiveness in product planning and manufacturing, while Baemin has differentiated strengths in data, platform operation, and logistics infrastructure, creating expected synergy in the delivery commerce market. Cooperation will also be strengthened in marketing and distribution. CJ CheilJedang plans to establish a dedicated section within B Mart and expand its product lineup to include not only popular CJ CheilJedang products such as Hetbahn and Spam but also frozen and refrigerated foods, considering the characteristics of delivery commerce services.
Additionally, through Baemin’s newly launched ‘Bulk Special Deals’ section, CJ CheilJedang will showcase its main product categories such as sauces, oils, and seasonings, and will also expand the B2B (business-to-business) product lineup for small business owners registered on Baemin. With this partnership, consumers will be able to purchase a variety of CJ CheilJedang products, including Hetbahn and Bibigo, more quickly and conveniently through Baemin’s delivery commerce service, which averages around 30 minutes delivery time.
