President Yoon Suk-yeol returned home on the 11th after completing all summit schedules related to ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and the G20 (Group of Twenty). Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, President Yoon is known to be reviewing government measures to stimulate domestic demand while also considering a moderate reshuffle involving the replacement of 3 to 4 ministers.
On the same day, President Yoon arrived early in the morning at Seongnam Seoul Airport aboard Air Force One, accompanied by his wife, First Lady Kim Keon-hee. At the airport, Kim Ki-hyun, leader of the People Power Party, Yoon Jae-ok, floor leader, Kim Dae-gi, Chief Presidential Secretary, Lee Jin-bok, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs, Jang Ho-jin, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ko Ki-dong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, welcomed the presidential couple.
After completing the ASEAN and G20 summit schedules in Indonesia, President Yoon Suk-yeol returned to Korea on the morning of the 11th through Seongnam Seoul Airport, and after disembarking from the Air Force One, he greeted Go Gi-dong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

At the G20 summit held on the 9th at the India Expo and Convention Centre (IECC) in New Delhi under the theme "One Earth," President Yoon declared, "Natural disasters caused by climate change threaten the safety and freedom of citizens worldwide," and stated, "The Republic of Korea will serve as a green ladder to support countries vulnerable to climate change." As specific support measures for this green ladder role, President Yoon proposed three initiatives: an additional $300 million contribution to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), leading the transition to clean energy, and supporting the establishment of eco-friendly shipping solutions.
During the third session of the G20 summit on the 10th, themed "One Future," he emphasized, "To uphold principles, the war in Ukraine must end promptly and peace restored," and revealed plans to provide an additional $300 million next year, including humanitarian aid and free development cooperation, as well as support through international financial institutions. Furthermore, a mid- to long-term support package exceeding $2 billion will be prepared to actively assist Ukraine's reconstruction. In addition, a series of bilateral summit meetings continued, seeking support for the 2030 Busan World Expo bid and exploring industrial and economic cooperation with various heads of state.
President Yoon received delayed work reports on the day and is expected to explain the outcomes of his overseas trip to the public through a Cabinet meeting on the 12th. A focus on measures to stimulate domestic demand and other livelihood-related activities is also anticipated.

The possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle before Chuseok has also emerged as a topic of interest. According to political circles, President Yoon is expected to carry out a moderate reshuffle early this week, replacing 3 to 4 ministers, including those of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and the Ministry of National Defense. The Second Deputy Director of the National Security Office and the Defense Secretary may also be replaced simultaneously.
