Park Junsun, Chosun University Staff, Awarded Commendation by Minister of Employment and Labor

Park Junsun, a manager at the Chosun University University Job Plus Center, received the Minister of Employment and Labor Commendation in the Youth Employment Promotion category at the '2023 Government Awards for Job Creation' on the 4th.
The Job Creation Merit Award, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is a system that selects and awards individuals or organizations such as companies, employment support institutions, universities, and research institutes that have played a leading role in job creation.
Manager Park Junsun was recognized for his contributions to improving both the quantity and quality of jobs, including ▲ youth employment creation ▲ establishment of employment support systems ▲ support for integrated counseling service provision systems ▲ provision of employment information and advancement of the student integrated support system to expand regional youth participation.
Furthermore, he contributed to youth employment promotion through efforts such as developing and operating customized employment programs for the local community and youth, and industry-academia cooperation and win-win collaboration with related local organizations in various national projects including the University Job Plus Center project, LINC+ project, and Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform project over several years.
Also, as the person in charge of the region and curriculum for the 2023 'University Job Plus Center (Hub Type) Project' operating university, he supported the operation of hub-type employment support programs and established systems for comprehensive employment competency enhancement support and management for local youth through specialized programs to strengthen youth employment capabilities and corporate matching connections.
Manager Park Junsun said, “Through the University Job Plus Center project, which activates youth support policies and employment support of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, I will continue to strive to enable the youth to enter society stably.”

Chosun University operates the '2023 University Job Plus Center (Hub Type) Project' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Every year, 750 million KRW (450 million KRW national funds, 150 million KRW local funds, 150 million KRW university funds) is invested to provide systematic career planning and employment support services.
