Jindo-gun Dream Start Operates Child Health Checkup Program
52 School-Age Children... Blood, Urine, and Hearing Tests Covering 16 Items
Dream Start in Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do conducted health checkups for 52 children under case management.
According to the county on the 8th, this health checkup was conducted over about three weeks through Jindo Hanguk Hospital for children who wished to undergo health checkups, excluding 1st and 4th graders who are subject to school health checkups this year.
Concerned about the health of children who may become vulnerable during the hot summer, detailed examinations were conducted on 16 items including △blood test △urine test △hearing test △X-ray examination.
The county plans to provide glasses for vision correction to children whose eyesight is below 0.7 based on the health checkup results.
A representative from the Family Happiness Division of Jindo-gun said, “Despite difficult circumstances, we plan to continue various programs so that children, the future of Jindo-gun, can grow up healthily without losing hope. We will do our best to ensure that children can grow and develop healthily through customized support projects.”
