Seoul City Launches Online Shopping Exclusive 'eSeoul Sarang Gift Certificate' Sale
Seoul City announced on the 8th that starting from 10 a.m. on the 12th, it will sell the ‘eSeoul Love Gift Certificate (Shopping Only)’ usable on online shopping malls at a 7% discounted price. The total issuance scale is 7.7 billion KRW. The eSeoul Love Gift Certificate is a gift certificate exclusively for online shopping.
The shopping-only gift certificate issued this time can be used at ‘eSeoul Love Shop.’ ‘eSeoul Love Shop’ is an online store exclusively for small business owners, jointly operated by Seoul City and 11st, selling about 29 million products from approximately 80,000 small business owners.
Support measures to secure price competitiveness for small business owners have also been prepared. Along with selling the eSeoul Love Shop exclusive gift certificates at a 7% discounted price, seasonal online special events called ‘Super Seoul Week’ will be held to provide discount coupons.
During the second Chuseok online special event held for 12 days from the 11th to the 22nd at 11st eSeoul Love Shop, discount coupons of 15% per person, up to a maximum of 10,000 KRW, will be issued. When paying with the 7% discounted gift certificate, the discount coupon benefits can be applied cumulatively, allowing consumers to purchase Chuseok-related products such as health foods, fruits, and daily necessities at up to 21% cheaper prices.
The ‘eSeoul Love Gift Certificate (Shopping Only)’ can be purchased in units of 10,000 KRW within a monthly limit of 500,000 KRW through Seoul citizens’ lifestyle financial platform ‘Seoul Pay Plus,’ as well as Shinhan SOL, T-money Pay, Moneytree, and Shinhan pLay apps. Each person can hold up to a total of 1 million KRW.
