"Firing BB Pellets Toward Road from High-Rise Apartment"… 20s Male Booked Without Detention
A man in his 20s suspected of firing BB pellets at pedestrians from a high floor of an apartment building has been booked without detention.
According to the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station on the 7th, Mr. A is suspected of firing BB pellets with a gas-charged rifle toward the ground opposite his apartment in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, on the 31st of last month. Although the woman hit by the BB pellets did not report the incident on the day, she reported it on the 5th after discovering BB pellets again on a path within the apartment complex.
Based on witness statements and photos taken by a security guard, the police accompanied Mr. A voluntarily on the afternoon of the 5th. So far, two victims have been identified, and the police booked Mr. A without detention on charges of special assault on the 5th.
