"‘Just Wanted to Try It Once’ - 40-Year-Old Man Arrested for Pressing Stun Gun to Unknown Woman’s Neck"
A man who used a stun gun on a woman waiting for a bus has been arrested.
According to the Yangsan Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 7th, Mr. A, in his 40s, is accused of stabbing the neck of Ms. B, in her 50s, with a stun gun at a bus stop in Sangbuk-myeon, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, around 1:30 PM on the 4th, and then fleeing the scene.
Mr. A and Ms. B did not know each other at all, and several people besides Ms. B were waiting for the bus at the bus stop at the time.
Ms. B sustained a red, inflamed wound on her neck.
Police who responded to Ms. B’s report arrested Mr. A near the crime scene, confiscated the stun gun, and found billiard balls and stockings in Mr. A’s bag.
Mr. A reportedly stated, “I bought the stun gun for self-defense at the end of last month,” and “I wanted to try using it once.”
