Lee Ju-yeon, CEO of BR Korea, an SPC Group affiliate operating Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin, has expressed her intention to resign just six months after taking office.
According to the food and dining industry on the 7th, it is reported that Lee recently verbally expressed her intention to resign to the company.
Born in 1975, Lee attracted attention as the 'first female CEO of SPC Group' when she took office in February this year. She led digital innovation and fintech new businesses while overseeing the Digital Headquarters and Strategic Planning Headquarters at Hyundai Card. Later, she served as Head of Strategic Planning and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at SCK Company (formerly Starbucks Korea), advancing key projects such as Siren Order and promoting the development of new digital platforms.
The fact that Lee expressed her intention to resign just six months after taking office has drawn attention to the background behind this decision.
