The Jinyeowon Foundation Donates 10 Million KRW Development Fund to Dong-A University
The Jinyeowon Foundation (Shinnyoen, 眞如苑) donated 10 million KRW in development funds to the College of Engineering at Dong-A University.
The development fund delivery ceremony was held on the afternoon of the 6th in the lobby of Building 2 at the Seunghak Campus College of Engineering’s “Hall of Honor.” Attendees included Jang Sang-mok, Dean of the College of Engineering; Choi Young-ik, Dean of Industry-Academia Cooperation; Matsunaga Atsushi, International Director of the Jinyeowon Foundation; Jeong Gyeong-guk (Vice Director); and Yeong Jun-guk (Busan Branch Director).
The Jinyeowon Foundation is an organization based on Shinnyoen, which was founded in 1936 by its reformer Ito Shinjo (伊藤眞乘).
In Korea, it operates Seoul Jeongsa, Busan Jeongsa, Changwon Propagation Center, and Jeju Propagation Center, actively practicing sharing through scholarships and aid for the underprivileged, and leading religious harmony exchanges between Korean and Japanese Buddhism.

Matsunaga Atsushi, International Director, said, “I understand that Dong-A University has made great efforts in educating and nurturing students. We are pleased to participate in this occasion for the youth who will carry the future, and we hope it will be helpful.”
