Lee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea, is departing for Switzerland to attend the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Governors' Meeting.
The Bank of Korea announced on the 7th that Governor Lee will leave on the 9th to attend the BIS Governors' Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland, and is scheduled to return on the 13th.
Governor Lee will participate in the World Economic Meeting, Asia Regional Committee, and the Meeting of Central Bank Governors and Heads of Supervisory Authorities from the 10th to the 11th, where he will meet with governors of BIS member central banks. At this event, they plan to discuss the recent global economic and financial market conditions.
