Polaris Office Selected for Korea Industrial Complex Corporation R&D National Project... "Developing Differentiated Collaboration Solutions"
Polaris Office will embark on the development of a multi-collaboration platform for digital collaboration innovation, supported by two years of research and development funding. It plans to form a consortium with ICT (Information and Communication Technology) companies to develop a collaboration solution differentiated from existing products.
On the 7th, Polaris Office announced that it had been selected for an R&D project under the Industrial Complex Competitiveness Enhancement Project supported by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation.
This project aims to discover and support collaborative R&BD (Research and Business Development linked to commercialization) tasks among multiple companies based on the industry-academia-research network within industrial complexes, thereby spreading joint business models and promoting commercialization.
The Polaris Office consortium plans to develop a collaboration solution that enhances work productivity and security by organically linking work messengers and electronic work notes. Polaris Office will act as the lead company, with Ultari Information & Communication, a work messenger development company, and EnixOne, a content intelligence specialist company, participating as joint research and development companies.
Once the research and development is completed, this product is expected to be the only one supporting a fully multi-platform environment. Based on group messengers and electronic notes, it will enable continuous work anytime and anywhere, and by applying all security considerations, it will be an optimized collaboration solution for public institution work, distinguishing it from existing products.
A Polaris Office representative said, “As the needs for collaboration system improvements are growing among many public institutions and companies, we gathered various necessary opinions to proceed with this project,” adding, “With the activation of digital note-taking and messenger-based collaboration, we will develop an integrated collaboration solution that can manage all these collaboration tools at once.”
