National Tax Service Promotes 196 Officials to Manager Positions... Expanding Proportion of Headquarters, Women, and Grade 9 Open Recruitment
The National Tax Service conducted a large-scale promotion to boost employee morale. This promotion is characterized by an increased proportion of promotions from the headquarters, women, and Grade 9 open competitive exam passers.
On the 5th, the National Tax Service announced that it had promoted 196 officials to the position of administrative officer. A National Tax Service official stated, "We secured the largest number of promotions in the past five years to boost employee morale," adding, "The purpose is to create an atmosphere where employees can focus on their core duties, such as securing tax revenue budgets in the second half of the year, by enhancing their morale." Previously, the National Tax Service promoted 186 people in 2021 and 176 people in 2022.
The characteristic of this promotion is the increased proportion of promotions from the headquarters, women, and Grade 9 open competitive exam employees. Even if the promotion tenure is short, talented individuals with proven capabilities and character were boldly selected through strict screening, and the proportion of headquarters promotions was increased to enhance incentives for capable employees to work at the headquarters. Over the past five years, the average proportion of promotions to the headquarters for tax officials was 30.2%, but this year it rose to 33.3%.
