View original imageGyeonggi Province will hold the ‘Gyeonggi Provincial Economic Science Promotion Agency Bio Excellent Technology Presentation’ at the Gyeonggi Bio Center in Iui-dong, Suwon City on the 22nd.
This event aims to inform pharmaceutical and bio companies about the research and development achievements of the Gyeonggi Provincial Economic Science Promotion Agency, which have resulted from the ‘Domestic and International Natural and Synthetic Material Development Project’ supported by Gyeonggi Province.
At the technology presentation, seven patented technologies will be introduced, including ▲a composition for improving gut health using turnip extract ▲a composition for improving cognitive function using grapevine extract ▲a composition for improving atopic dermatitis using silver birch extract ▲cosmetic ingredients using nutritional chive extract ▲a pharmacological composition for treating demyelinating diseases through kinase inhibition mechanism ▲an anti-obesity composition through histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibition mechanism ▲and a histone deacetylase inhibition composition.
The 125 diverse core technologies held by the Gyeonggi Provincial Economic Science Promotion Agency will also be disclosed through technical data books and other materials.
The event will also feature a seminar titled ‘Post-Corona Global Cosmetics Market Changes and Responses’ to enhance capabilities in responding to the global beauty market.

Han Tae-seong, Director of the Bio Industry Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Since 2007, the Bio Industry Headquarters of the Gyeonggi Provincial Economic Science Promotion Agency has supported 530,000 research infrastructures and technologies to over 1,120 bio and pharmaceutical companies," adding, "We will continue to assist Gyeonggi Province companies in efficient research and development and expanding into overseas markets."
