Professor Jeong Dong-jin of Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Appointed President of the Korean ITA Radiology Society
Catholic University Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital announced on the 5th that Professor Jeong Dong-jin of the Department of Radiology (photo) has been elected as the next president of the Korean ITA Radiology Society. The term of office is from January 1 next year to December 31, 2025.
The Korean ITA Radiology Society was founded in 1999 for non-surgical treatment of liver cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and thyroid cancer, which are actively performed in clinical practice. The society regularly holds academic meetings, workshops, and conferences to exchange information and experiences, and has been actively engaged in academic activities such as multi-center collaborative research.
Professor Jeong has served as the academic director and international cooperation director of the Korean ITA Radiology Society and participates in various academic activities within the Korean Radiological Society.

Professor Jeong expressed his ambition, saying, “We will take the 25th anniversary of the society’s founding as an opportunity for a new leap forward and devote ourselves more to treatment and research for patients suffering from cancer.”
