What Projects Are Good for Our Region Next Year?
Seodaemun-gu Resident Participatory Budget Project Voting Underway... Among 10 Candidate Projects for 2024, Each Person Can Vote for 3 Online
Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) is conducting an online resident vote until midnight on the 10th of this month to select the 2024 Resident Participatory Budget Projects.
The targets are 10 projects selected from resident proposals submitted by June this year, after review by relevant district office departments and first and second evaluations by the Seodaemun-gu Resident Participatory Budget Committee.
Specifically, these include ▲ installation of shade shelters in front of traffic lights near Myeongsu Children's Park ▲ fence repair within Yeonga Children's Park ▲ replacement of wooden retaining walls at the entrance of Mugunghwa Park on Inwangsan Mountain ▲ installation of free Wi-Fi in Gajaeul Central Neighborhood Park ▲ installation of rain shelters at bus stops, among others.
Additionally, there are ▲ improvement construction at Geokkuro Children's Park ▲ operation of play and shared spaces in the annex of Hong Eun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center ▲ installation of shade shelters at the intersection near Gajaeul Elementary School ▲ installation of breathalyzer devices for safe driving in administrative vehicles ▲ replacement of outdoor exercise equipment installed on Dongnipmun-ro in Cheonyeon-dong.
Any resident living or active in Seodaemun-gu can select their preferred 3 projects out of the 10 proposals on the Seoul M-Voting site (access via QR code or internet homepage and search for ‘Seodaemun-gu’). The district will draw 100 participants to receive coffee coupons.
The voting results will be announced on the 12th at 6 PM at the Resident Participatory Budget Committee General Meeting held in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of Seodaemun-gu Office and on the Seodaemun-gu Resident Participatory Budget website.
Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, “We ask residents for their great interest and participation in the online resident participatory budget vote so that projects essential to our community can be selected.”
