The '2023 Yesan Beer Festival,' co-hosted by Yesan County, Chungnam, and The Born Korea (CEO Baek Jong-won), concluded successfully.

View original imageAccording to Yesan County on the 4th, the festival held from the 1st to the 3rd around Yesan Market attracted 63,000 visitors on the first day, 117,000 on the second day, and 66,000 on the third day, totaling approximately 246,000 attendees. This number is three times the initially expected 80,000 visitors.
During the festival, merchants showcased beers from various regions and sold out daily, with 'Asado' becoming a highly popular side dish. Asado is a whole pig barbecue roasted for 18 hours in eight specially made ovens.
Additionally, merchants ran discount campaigns on various menu items such as beer and coffee through the 'Hwanyeonghaeyu' campaign during the festival, leaving a positive impression on visitors.

View original imageAs the festival ended successfully, Choi Jae-gu, the governor of Yesan County, expressed his gratitude to Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea.
Governor Choi said, "I sincerely thank CEO Baek and the staff of The Born Korea who participated in every aspect of the festival from preparation to execution. We will showcase a newer and more united image of Yesan County at the Yesan Market Samguk Festival held in October and the Yesan Beer Festival next year."
CEO Baek stated, "This has become an opportunity to instill confidence that even small cities can hold festivals utilizing local beers, energizing the entire region and revitalizing the commercial district."

At the meeting, he said, "Looking at existing local festivals, there have been many cases where local merchants gave a bad impression to visitors by overcharging.
