Dongmyeong University Department of Advertising and Public Relations Wins 5 Awards at Nationwide Competition
Students from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Dongmyung University achieved five awards in three competitions held in Japan, Seoul, and Busan last August.
First, on August 19, a team of third-year student Nam Gyunho participated in the ‘KBO (Korea Baseball Organization) NINE Season 2023 Value-Up Camp & Performance Sharing Meeting’ held at the Daejeon KT Talent Development Center and won the Grand Prize by proposing baseball content for the hearing impaired. Third-year student Seon Yushin’s team and fourth-year student Lee Seungjin’s team each received encouragement awards.
The achievements from the KBO NINE performance sharing meeting held in Daejeon continued to Kyushu, Japan.
Five students?Jung Kyungrak, Kim Bomin, Kim Minji, Lee Jihyun, and Son Ayeon?won the Grand Prize in the startup marketing category (Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center Director’s Award) at the ‘2023 Southeast Region LINC 3.0 Startup Nomad Camp & Competition’ held for one night and two days from August 24 at Kyushu University (Ito Campus) in Japan.
Their proposal, “Marketing Strategy Proposal for Personal Color Market Entry into Japan,” received positive evaluations for creativity and feasibility.

In the first half of 2023, the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Dongmyung University recorded 27 cases of scholarship selections (including the Humanities 100-Year Scholarship, GSSHOP Content Leader, and Gohwa Scholarship) and competition awards (such as the Korea Yakult University Student Marketing Competition, Korea University Student Advertising Competition, and KT&G Imagination Marketing School Competition), with a cumulative scholarship/prize money amounting to 22 million KRW.
