LG CNS announced on the 4th that it has been selected as a '2023 Korea Job Excellence Company.' The Korea Job Excellence Company is selected annually by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to foster a social atmosphere that favors companies that increase jobs and improve job quality.

In the selection process, LG CNS was highly evaluated for ▲ competency-based fair recruitment ▲ employee care to improve employment rates ▲ restructuring of the wage system based on competencies ▲ encouragement of employees' job skills and technology ▲ digital technology-based social contribution activities. Companies selected as Korea Job Excellence Companies receive benefits such as preferential treatment in credit evaluations, preferential interest rates, and exemption from regular tax audits.
LG CNS is implementing various systems to create a good workplace. First, to secure IT experts, it operates a new recruitment program called the 'Digital Transformation (DX) Leadership Academy.' It recruits talents in various fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud, smart logistics, and consulting. Coding and AI field tests are conducted to evaluate applicants' IT capabilities, and successful candidates receive IT career education. It also operates a competency-based recruitment process called 'Code Monster,' which evaluates candidates solely on programming skills regardless of academic background, grades, or major.
LG CNS has established employee welfare and work-family balance support systems to improve employment rates. It created the People Care Team responsible for employee welfare and holds Family Days such as coding education for children and Healing Day for parents. It also runs happiness care programs including maternity care, providing fetal examination time, school entrance gifts, and college entrance exam gifts. Last year, it introduced a sabbatical leave system that grants up to one month of leave every five years after joining. To improve employees' working environment, LG CNS operates about 70 hub offices within the metropolitan area by comprehensively analyzing customer-dense areas, major fieldwork and business trip locations, and residential areas.
In 2018, LG CNS restructured its wage system from seniority-based to 'competency-based.' Through this, it provides greater rewards to talents with superior technical and business capabilities regardless of rank or years of service.
LG CNS focuses on strengthening employees' job skills through technical capabilities. It supports employees in obtaining certifications from global cloud companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS), and Google Cloud. Currently, employees have acquired over 3,100 cloud-related certifications. LG CNS also has an educational system that recommends personalized educational content by analyzing employees' competencies, job groups, and course histories based on AI.

It also conducts social contribution activities utilizing DX capabilities. In cooperation with metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Busan, it provides AI-based foreign language learning service AI Tutor to elementary, middle, and high school students and teachers. It freely opens the AI learning Korean standard data 'CoQuad' to the industry and has been conducting the visiting AI education program 'AI Genius' for middle school students for seven years.
