Dongkook Pharmaceutical 'Sensia', Walking Donation Campaign Supporting Medical Expenses for Elderly Leg Diseases
Dongkook Pharmaceutical announced on the 4th that it will conduct the "Walking Donation Campaign with Sensia" to support medical expenses for leg diseases of vulnerable elderly under the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone. The campaign was designed to promote walking, one of the good habits for preventing and managing venous circulation disorders, so that participants can take care of their health and also contribute to donations.
Running from the 5th to the 6th of next month, this campaign is a social contribution initiative jointly organized by Dongkook Pharmaceutical, the Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone, and the mobile healthcare platform "WalkOn." Using the donation challenge feature of the walking app WalkOn, if participants collectively reach the total goal of 1 billion steps, Dongkook Pharmaceutical will provide financial support for medical expenses related to leg disease treatment for vulnerable groups. Anyone can easily participate by simply pressing the "Participate" button on the WalkOn app, and after the campaign ends, participants will also receive donation certificates.
