Busan Gijang-gun Selected for 'Community Win-Win Cooperation Support Project' Contest
Busan's Gijang-gun has been selected for the '2023 Community Win-Win Cooperation Support Project' competition.
The 'Community Win-Win Cooperation Support Project' is a program led by Busan Technopark aimed at solving local issues by utilizing the human and material infrastructure of universities in the Busan area and achieving innovation together with local universities.
Gijang-gun formed a consortium with Dongseo University and proposed the video and film program 'Evergreen Project Season 2,' which involves participation from local residents. The program received high praise from the judges and was ultimately selected.
With this selection, from September until the end of 2024, the county will implement various programs in collaboration with Dongseo University, including ▲ Evergreen Film University ▲ production and operation of regionally specialized musicals ▲ documentary production ▲ a university student idea contest to revitalize tourism in the Gijang area.
In December of last year, the first cohort of Evergreen Film University students completed their graduation ceremony and are taking a commemorative photo.

Through this, local residents are expected to be encouraged to lead tourism revitalization from the perspective of content producers rather than just consumers.
A Gijang-gun official stated, “We will continue to maintain the connection with local universities through branding the Evergreen Project,” and added, “We plan to actively support local residents so that they can play a role as creators who directly participate in content planning and development, beyond being mere content consumers.”
Gijang-gun was selected for the 'Community Win-Win Cooperation Support Project' competition in 2021 and successfully operated the 'Evergreen Project' with Dongseo University from 2021 to 2022.
