Korea GM Sold 31,716 Vehicles Domestically and Internationally Last Month, Up 74% YoY
On the 1st, Korea GM announced that it sold 31,716 units domestically and internationally last month, a 74.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This marks the 14th consecutive month of year-over-year growth.
Overseas sales reached 28,419 units, up 94.4% during the same period. The Chevrolet Trax crossover drove the performance, with nearly 20,000 units sold. This model, which is in high demand in the United States, was previously ranked as the top Korean passenger car export model in June and July.
Domestic sales were 3,297 units, down 8.2% compared to the same period last year. The Trax crossover sold 2,129 units, and the Trailblazer sold 674 units.
