Geumcheon-gu Hosts Youth Sports Festival 'G League'
Held at Geumcheon Youth Center on September 2 at 2 PM... Cheerful Sports Day, over 20 types of sports experience zones, body composition measurement, and health management consultation available
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will hold the Geumcheon Youth Harmony Festival ‘G League’ at 2 p.m. on September 2 at the Geumcheon Youth Center.
Hosted by Geumcheon-gu and organized by the Geumcheon Youth Center, the ‘Geumcheon Youth Harmony Festival’ is Geumcheon-gu’s representative youth festival where young people can freely express their talents and creativity. It is held five times a year, with the Youth Festival Planning Team preparing the entire process.
This festival is themed around ‘sports’ to promote physical activity among youth.
The program is designed to help youth understand their physical abilities and exercise preferences through ▲ body composition measurement and fitness evaluation ▲ cheerful sports day ▲ exercise games.
The cheerful sports day will feature 100 pre-registered participants. Youth will be divided into teams to compete for victory in events such as rolling cylinders, rolling balls, flipping boards, and random dance battles (random play dance).
Even those who have not pre-registered can freely use about 20 types of sports experience stations if they are youth aged 9 to 24. The sports experience stations will include ▲ high jump ▲ flexibility training ▲ sprinting ▲ mouth-blown soccer ▲ acupressure board long jump ▲ exercise games.
Additionally, counseling will be provided to guide individual participants on suitable exercises based on their body composition measurement results.
