Now in its 15th year, the "Cheongsong National Tourism Photography Contest" is organized by the Cheongsong Cultural Center and invites photographic works featuring Cheongsong's natural tourism resources, tangible and intangible cultural assets, pristine natural environment, and various events including the Apple Festival.
The contest will accept submissions from September 1 to October 6, and anyone in the nation can participate with no limit on the number of entries per person.
Photo submission specifications are 11×14 inches or 10×15 inches (color or black and white), with an entry fee of 20,000 KRW for up to 5 photos, and an additional 10,000 KRW for every 2 photos beyond that. A total of 62 awards will be given, including the grand prize, with the grand prize winner (1 person) receiving 5 million KRW.
Submitted works will be judged by photography experts to select the winners, and the announcement of the winning entries will be made on October 16 through the Cheongsong Cultural Center website.
In particular, during the Cheongsong Apple Festival period (November 1 to November 5), an awards ceremony and exhibition of the winning works will be held. Additionally, the awarded works will be used as promotional materials for Cheongsong in the future, playing a role in widely promoting Cheongsong's beautiful natural scenery.
