Lotte Hotel & Resort is consistently popular with meat products such as the BMS Number Nine Signature No. 1 worth 2.5 million KRW and Hoengseong Hanwoo beef sets priced between 400,000 and 1.1 million KRW. Hotel Shilla is gaining steady popularity by prominently featuring master craftsmen’s products centered on the highest quality domestic agricultural, livestock, and marine products such as Hanwoo beef, traditional sauces, and pollack roe. Delivery helpers trained in Hotel Shilla’s delivery service personally visit to deliver gifts. Chosun Hotel & Resort is also receiving inquiries about gift sets ranging from 100,000 to 600,000 KRW.

Popularity of 200,000 to 300,000 KRW Sets Following 'Kim Young-ran Act' Limit Increase
Following the government’s increase of the holiday gift price limit to 300,000 KRW under the 'Act on the Prohibition of Improper Solicitation and Graft (Kim Young-ran Act),' gift sets priced between 200,000 and 300,000 KRW are especially attracting attention during the pre-order period at department stores. In response, department stores have collectively moved to secure additional quantities of Chuseok gift sets in this price range.
Lotte Department Store reported that from the 18th to the 29th, pre-order sales for Chuseok gifts centered on Hanwoo beef, fruits, and seafood gift sets priced between 200,000 and 300,000 KRW have increased by more than 20% compared to last year. Representative products include the 290,000 KRW Royal Hanwoo Mixed Gift, Low Carbon Hanwoo Mixed Gift, and the 189,000 KRW Prestige Apple Shine Mango Gift. Hanwha Galleria is selling eco-friendly purebred Iberico products, personally overseen by Strategy Director Kim Dong-seon from the planning stage, at around 200,000 KRW starting from the 11th of next month, with inquiries already ongoing.
