Muan-gun Selects 90 Priority Management Projects, Publishes on Website

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) has selected 90 key projects under the Policy Real-Name System to satisfy residents' right to know and enhance trust in county administration, and will disclose them to residents through the county website.

According to the county on the 30th, the Policy Real-Name System is a system designed to increase transparency and accountability of policies by recording the names and opinions of stakeholders involved in the decision-making and execution processes of major county policies.

The target projects include △ major county issues and projects affecting residents △ projects with a budget of 500 million KRW or more △ service contracts worth 50 million KRW or more △ enactment or revision of laws related to residents △ policies contributing to residents' rights or welfare improvement.

This year, 90 key projects were selected, including the ‘Oryong District Complex Cultural Center Construction’ and the ‘Doripo Tourist Attraction Project,’ and detailed information can be found on the Muan-gun website.

In addition, the National Application Policy Real-Name System, introduced to provide a public participation channel when selecting projects under the Policy Real-Name System, accepts applications throughout the year.

Governor Kim San stated, “By selecting and disclosing projects under the Policy Real-Name System, we will provide demand-oriented services and enhance the transparency and reliability of county policy implementation.”
