Dong-A University and Hanoi National University of Education College of Engineering AI-Based Autonomous Driving Competition and Research Exchange Seminar
The Dong-A University Industry-Academic Cooperation Leading University Development Project Group (LINC 3.0) successfully concluded the ‘AI-Based Autonomous Driving Competition and Research Exchange Seminar’ with the College of Engineering at Hanoi National University in Vietnam.
The event, held over two days at the Dong-A University Seunghak Campus Faculty Hall Auditorium, was attended by students from Dong-A University’s Smart Mobility Convergence Major and students from the Department of Mechanical Automation Engineering at Hanoi National University’s College of Engineering. They learned autonomous vehicle software technology and engaged in a competition that fostered global cooperation and exchange.
In the 2023 AI-Based Autonomous Driving Competition, the team of Dong-A University students Kim Seunghwan, Park Youngjun, and Jung Minkyeong won first place.
The teams following them were from Hanoi National University: DANG TIEN DONG, DAO DUC KHANH, and TRAN HOAI NAM; from Dong-A University: Kwon Eunju, Moon Seoyoung, Park Bojeong, and Lee Heeju; and from Hanoi National University: BUI NHAT MINH, NGUYEN TUAN ANH, and VU DUC CHIEN.

Building on this competition, Dong-A University and Hanoi National University’s College of Engineering plan to activate various educational and research collaborations to strengthen global capabilities and will also launch an exchange student program.
