KB Kookmin Bank plans to donate up to 100 million KRW, contributing 10,000 KRW per new customer subscription to ‘On Gukmin Health Savings-Golden Life,’ to support knee replacement surgeries for low-income elderly individuals.

To facilitate smooth non-face-to-face transactions for financially vulnerable senior customers, the issuance fee for cash IC (MyQ) cards will be fully waived for customers aged 60 and over. The bank also plans to expand the operation of the ‘KB Senior Lounge,’ a specialized branch model for seniors. The ‘KB Senior Lounge’ is a specialized branch operated to support elderly customers who are socially marginalized due to the development of digital finance.
