Dongmyeong University, New Full-Time Faculty Appointments in Emergency Medical Services and K-sports Taekwondo Departments
Do-ing (Challenge·Experience·Practice) Dongmyung University has newly appointed Dr. Kim Sung-joo, an expert in emergency medical field, and Dr. Won Hyung-jin, Taekwondo director of Angel Peace Arts Group, as full-time faculty members of the Department of Emergency Medical Services and the K-sports Taekwondo Department, respectively.
Professor Kim Sung-joo is expected to contribute to training first-class emergency medical technicians to become 119 paramedics, based on various field practices such as free monthly CPR education for Busan citizens.
Professor Won Hyung-jin led Dongmyung University Do-ing College students in a joint Taekwondo demonstration performance invited by the NFL (National Football League) in Washington DC last September.
For the 2024 academic year, Dongmyung University has newly established ▲Department of Emergency Medical Services ▲Department of Companion Animal Industry ▲Department of Hair Design ▲Department of Makeup Design ▲Department of Game Graphics ▲Department of Hotel Culinary and Bakery ▲K-sports Taekwondo Department ▲Department of Soccer ▲Department of Entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the university established the Beauty Arts College, which includes departments such as Beauty Care, Hair Design, Makeup Design, and Fashion Design.

On January 6, based on the 2021 employment rate survey by the Korea Education Development Institute (KEDI), Dongmyung University achieved a 66.2% employment rate, ranking first among private universities in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions with over 1,000 graduates.
