In this evaluation, out of 315 local government brands nationwide, 63 candidates were selected through the first survey, and consumers' awareness, preference, and satisfaction with the brands were comprehensively assessed. Yeosu was finally selected in the Marine Tourism City category.
Yeosu is analyzed to have received high evaluations from consumers for its diverse tourism content found throughout the city, including Hallyeohaesang National Park, the outstanding marine scenery of 365 jewel-like islands, abundant food, Yeosu Night Sea, Romantic Bus, and the Yeosun Incident Dark Tourism City Tour.
