Taiwan Ministry of National Defense Urges China to "Stop Military Harassment" Amid Armed Demonstrations
As China continues its military activities in the Taiwan Strait, raising regional tensions, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense has demanded a halt to the "military harassment."
On the 29th, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense stated on its website, "The ongoing military harassment by the Communist forces in the region can escalate tensions," adding, "Maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait is related to the security, prosperity, and welfare of the Indo-Pacific region, and it is a shared responsibility of all parties in the region."

Earlier, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense detected 24 military aircraft, including J-10, J-16, and Y-9, operated by the Chinese military in the airspace surrounding Taiwan starting from 9 a.m. that day. Notably, 12 of these aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait or entered the southwestern airspace of Taiwan. Additionally, a total of five warships conducted combat patrols near Taiwan.
