University for Small Business Owners... Dongmyeong University Successfully Shares Achievements of the 1st Digital Specialized University Cohort
Dongmyung University College of Future Convergence held the first graduation ceremony and performance sharing meeting of the '2023 Small Business Digital Specialization University' on August 25 at Centum Hotel.
This program was hosted and organized by the Small Enterprise and Market Service under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. At the performance presentation, 10 outstanding teams presented their cases.
At the event, the grand prize and a cash award of 400,000 KRW were given to CEO Lee Jung-won of Mamamimi, a company that sells goods by developing characters. The excellence awards went to three teams: VIVID (CEO Koo Min-kyung), Oafo (CEO Kim Do-i), and Flosha (CEO Kim Si-ha), each receiving 300,000 KRW.
Leadership and Friendship Awards were presented to representatives who made efforts to sustain networks among small business owners. Local Creator Awards and Digital Competency Excellence Awards were also given to diligent trainees.
On this day, various small business owners participated, creating an opportunity to form networks among small business companies.

A Dongmyung University official stated, “Through this event, small business owners not only established a foundation for digital distribution channels but also learned concrete methods for building shared business items and entering distribution networks,” and added, “We expect the learning and growth stories of small business owners to spread and have a positive impact on local small business owners.”

The second-term performance sharing meeting is scheduled to be held on November 10 after 62 small business owners complete the course.
