Gangnam-gu Opens Customer Rest Area at Dogok Market After 50 Years
As Part of Traditional Market Facility Modernization Project, Customer Lounge, Merchant Office, CCTV, and Broadcasting Room Equipped Rest Area Opens on the 28th
Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) opened a customer rest area (Seolleung-ro 69-gil 19, Yeoksam Raemian Shopping Center Building 402) at Dogok Market on the 28th.
Dogok Market is an alley-type market that organically formed in the city center in the 1970s. As part of the traditional market facility modernization project, remodeling was carried out from June to August, creating a customer rest area for the first time in 50 years.
The rest area is equipped with a customer lounge where visitors to Dogok Market can take a break after shopping, the merchants' association office, CCTV, and broadcasting facilities. It is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
