Pukyong National University Two Teams Win 'Grand Prize' at LINC 3.0 Startup Idea Competition
Student teams led by Moon Jun-hyeok and Lee Yu-jin from Pukyong National University recently won the top awards at the "2023 Southeast Region LINC 3.0 Startup Nomad Camp & Idea Competition."
The competition, held from the 24th to the 28th in Fukuoka, including Kyushu University in Japan, featured over 200 participants from 13 universities operating the Southeast Region LINC 3.0 project group. The event proceeded in the order of team formation, mentoring, and presentations.
At this competition, the team led by Moon Jun-hyeok from Pukyong National University proposed a startup idea titled "Specialized Marketing Strategy Plan for Ornamental Fish/Pet Turtles," which develops customized feed for ornamental fish and turtles tailored to the growing niche pet market, winning the top prize (Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center Director's Award).
This idea was praised for establishing a marketing strategy based on thorough market research.
The student teams of Moon Junhyuk and Lee Yujin, who won the Grand Prize, are taking a commemorative photo at the event venue.
View original imageAdditionally, the team led by Lee Yu-jin from Pukyong National University received the top prize (Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center Director's Award) for their startup idea "Travel Review Sharing Solution (Locus)," which provides answers to all stages of travel based on users' travel reviews.
This idea was evaluated as one of the proactive responses to the increasing travel demand.

Ryu Ji-yeol, head of the Pukyong National University LINC 3.0 project group, stated, "This annual competition serves as an opportunity to share excellent startup items from universities participating in the Southeast Region LINC 3.0 project group and to form a startup network among universities. We plan to further expand shared collaboration linked with local governments in the future."
