Yeongdeungpo-gu, Operation of Visiting Maintenance Project Resident School
September 5-14, Four Sessions at District Office Annex, 100 Participants per Session, Urban Development Project Lectures
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) will operate the ‘2023 Visiting Maintenance Project Residents School’ in collaboration with Seoul City starting September 5 to strengthen residents' capabilities regarding various maintenance projects such as redevelopment and reconstruction.
The district is intensively carrying out various residential maintenance projects, including the Urban Maintenance Promotion Project (formerly New Town), Yeouido apartment reconstruction, downtown public housing complex projects, small-scale redevelopment, and street housing maintenance projects, to the extent that it can be called a department store of urban maintenance projects. Including redevelopment and reconstruction projects currently in preparation such as obtaining residents' consent, the total number reaches about 100 locations.
Accordingly, the district is promoting the Visiting Maintenance Project Residents School to enhance residents' capabilities regarding maintenance projects and to promote swift and smooth project implementation.
This residents school will be held a total of four times from September 5 to 14 at 4 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office annex building.
The lecture topics are ▲ Reconstruction Maintenance Project (9.5) ▲ Small-scale Housing Maintenance Project, Moa Town (9.7) ▲ New Planning, Public Redevelopment, Redevelopment Maintenance Project (9.12) ▲ Station Area Long-term Lease Housing Project (9.14).
To provide accurate information on maintenance projects and education tailored to residents' perspectives, Seoul City will also support customized instructors with professional knowledge and practical experience.
Up to 100 residents interested in various maintenance projects or landowners related to project implementation can attend each session. Additionally, for residents' convenience, the district plans to record and share lecture videos.
