On the 28th at 2 p.m., the district held a meeting of the ‘Integrity Communication Team’ composed of executives at grade 5 and above to review the progress of integrity policy implementation.
Presided over by Acting Mayor Park Dae-woo of Gangseo-gu, the meeting shared the status of the 2023 integrity policy implementation and exchanged opinions on effective directions for promoting integrity policies.
The district manages the integrity policy in four areas with 22 items: ▲ fostering an integrity culture ▲ corruption-prone sectors ▲ public officials' integrity awareness ▲ spreading integrity culture in the local community.
The attendees emphasized the importance of internalizing integrity awareness through continuous practice rather than treating integrity policies as one-time events, stressing their commitment to action.
Following the meeting, an award ceremony was held for the integrity slogan contest conducted in June for all employees to promote the spread of an integrity culture.
A total of 90 slogans were submitted to the contest, and the grand prize went to Jeong Da-woon, an official from Gayang 2-dong, for the slogan: ‘Cheong’lyeomhago ‘Jeong’jikage ‘Gang’yomalgo ‘Seo’rosilcheon (Practicing Integrity and Honesty in Gangseo without Coercion).
Other excellent slogans included ▲ Because I am ‘Integrity’, the country is ‘Fair’. ▲ You, Me, Us, Integrity Gangseo! ▲ Gangseo-gu Integrity Index: Clear Weather Warning Today as Well.
Acting Mayor Park Dae-woo said, “Through the exemplary leadership of executives and the integrity practice of all employees, we will create a more transparent public service culture and further spread the culture of integrity to the local community, doing our best to make Gangseo a special integrity zone.”
The district is making relentless efforts to foster a transparent public service culture and prevent corruption in advance by designating an anti-corruption integrity education week, conducting integrity lectures for all employees, and implementing one integrity task per department reflecting the characteristics of each department’s work.
