Gwangju Nam-gu Launches Full Operation of Public Parking Lot in Bongseon Market
Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will open the public parking lot inside Bongseon Market on the 28th and begin full-scale operation.
Nam-gu has set the period from this day until October 3 as a pilot operation period to ensure smooth management and operation of the Bongseon Market public parking lot, and will conduct a final inspection of the 24-hour unmanned parking management system and integrated call center operation service.
During the pilot operation period, visitors to Bongseon Market can use the parking lot free of charge, and from October 4, when the pilot operation ends, public parking lot usage fees based on the Parking Lot Act and Parking Lot Ordinance will be applied.
The parking fee is designed to reduce the burden on visitors and to promote the use of Bongseon Market by allowing free use for the first hour.
For general vehicles, parking fees after the first hour are charged at 200 KRW per 10 minutes, and the daily parking ticket and monthly regular parking ticket fees are 8,000 KRW and 90,000 KRW, respectively.
