Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Conducts Search and Seizure at LH Headquarters Related to 'Rebar Omission' in Suseo Apartment
Regarding the suspected rebar omission incident at the Suseo Station area apartments in Seoul, the police conducting the investigation have carried out a search and seizure at the headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and other locations.
The Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that from 9 a.m. on the 28th, they are conducting search and seizure operations at seven locations, including the LH headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
The police are securing materials related to the suspected rebar omission incident at the apartments in the Suseo Station area of Seoul. Through a pre-indictment investigation (internal inquiry), the Seoul police have been identifying criminal charges against companies involved in design, construction, and supervision.

Earlier, the National Police Agency’s Criminal Investigation Headquarters assigned cases related to 15 apartments, including the Suseo Station area apartment case, among the public apartment rebar omission cases requested for investigation by LH, to the Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and other city and provincial police agencies with jurisdiction.
