CJ Foodville announced on the 28th that it will introduce Vips menu items as in-flight meals for Eastar Jet.
This is the first time Vips has launched an in-flight meal menu since the brand's inception. Through this, it plans to expand consumer touchpoints across various nationalities and contribute to enhancing the convenience of Eastar Jet passengers.
The new menu item, "Vips Spoonable Pepperoni Pizza," was developed exclusively for Eastar Jet. It is designed in a spoonable form for easy consumption even in airplane seats. Considering the aircraft cabin environment at high altitudes, the container is designed for simple preparation in the in-flight oven.
Vips underwent repeated cooking and testing processes during manufacturing to ensure the taste matches that enjoyed on the ground. The pepperoni and cream sauce content was increased, and the flavor was enhanced with three types of cheese: mozzarella, cheddar, and Grana Padano. It is ideal for family travelers with children and pairs well with alcoholic beverages such as wine and beer.
