Standoff with Armed Suspect Lasts Over 2 Hours in Residential Area of Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Update)
A man armed with a weapon has been in a standoff with the police for about two hours in a residential area of Seoul.
According to the police on the 26th, a report was received around 7:30 PM that day about a person carrying a weapon near Gusan Station in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
The man is known to have been holding the weapon and blocking access while confronting the police for over two hours. The area around the incident site is under control, and the police special forces have also been deployed and are on standby at the scene.
