"Cybertruck, Increase Parts Precision" Email Sent by Musk
Cybertruck Certification Photo Released... Email to Employees
"Even Minor Dimensional Changes Will Be Clearly Visible"
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, reportedly sent an email to employees emphasizing "maintaining the precision of parts" ahead of the launch of the electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck.
According to the US financial media CNBC on the 24th (local time), Musk sent an email related to the Cybertruck to all company employees the day before. In an email titled 'Cybertruck Precision,' he stated, "Due to the Cybertruck's characteristics of being made mostly of bright metal with straight edges, any dimensional changes will stand out like a thumb."
He continued, "Whether internal parts or parts from external suppliers, every component of this vehicle must be designed and manufactured with an accuracy of less than 10 microns (1/100th of 1 mm)."

If Lego products and very inexpensive soda cans can be made that way, so can we." He added, "Accuracy presupposes perfectionism."
Earlier, on the 24th, Musk posted on his X (formerly Twitter), saying, "I just drove a candidate Cybertruck produced at Giga Texas," and shared a photo of the Cybertruck. He expressed confidence by calling the Cybertruck "Tesla's best product ever."
However, CNBC reported, "Although Musk has been promoting the Cybertruck for a long time, the price and specifications have not yet been finalized."
In particular, one X user asked Musk to "please share the specifications or price of the Cybertruck," but Musk reportedly did not provide a proper response to the tweet.
