"Honda Korea and Samsung Card Sign MOU to Reduce Purchase Burden"
Available on Honda Online Platform
Honda Korea announced on the 25th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Samsung Card regarding payment for car purchases on the Honda online platform. Starting from the 1st of next month, all models sold on the Honda online platform can be paid for using Samsung Card. Benefits will be provided depending on the payment method and amount.
When purchasing a vehicle with the Samsung Card Direct Auto Card installment plan, monthly installment payments are reduced through interest rate discounts according to the installment period, without any early repayment fees. Cashback benefits are applied according to the lump-sum payment amount, returning up to 1.4% in cash (for payments over 50 million KRW).
Lee Ji-hong, CEO of Honda Korea, stated, “With four new car models scheduled for release within the year, we decided on this partnership to strengthen practical benefits that meet consumer needs. Going forward, we will actively consider expanding various marketing channels and partnerships with the goal of overwhelming customer satisfaction.”
