[Weather] Rain in the Morning, Heatwave in the Afternoon

View original imageIn the afternoon, rain will continue in eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk. The Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeolla regions will experience intermittent breaks in the rain in some places.
The expected rainfall over two days from the 24th is 50 to 120 mm in the Gyeongsang region (over 150 mm in coastal areas), 30 to 100 mm in southern Gangwon Yeongseo and Yeongdong (over 120 mm in southern Gangwon), and 30 to 80 mm in Chungbuk and eastern Jeonnam.
Rainfall of 10 to 60 mm is forecast for southern inland Gyeonggi and eastern areas, inland Jeonbuk, central to northern Gangwon Yeongseo, Daejeon, Sejong, and inland Chungnam. Seoul, northwestern inland Gyeonggi, Gwangju, western Jeonnam, western Jeonbuk coast, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to receive 5 to 30 mm of rain.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius.
After the rain stops, the southern regions will feel very hot with apparent temperatures around 33 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
